Ich habe aus dem Koffer das Inlay rausgenommen um den 2. Kopf sowie die Kabel unterzubringen, passt perfekt alles rein. Allerdings merkt man spätestens beim rausnehmen des Inlays die Sperrholzqualität des Koffers, da rettet das Schloss auch nichts mehr.

Hallo!
Ich habe mir für meinen 1200er einen anderen Koffer gekauft.
Passt alles rein, Akkueinheit, Ladegerät, 2 Verbindungskabel,
1x 5m Kabel, 2x Standard Köpfe mit Reflektor/Abdeckkappe,
1x Ringblitz mit Kabel und Gestell und ein Täschchen mit Funkauslöser.
Dazu ist der koffer sogar nicht größer als der Standard-Koffer vom
1200er

p.s. falls einer einen 1200er PRO-Kopf und ein 5m Verbindungskabel
abgeben möchte......

Ist schon ein bissel her, hab den in der
Elektronischen Bucht gefunden, musst
einfach mal suchen, Suchwort war glaub
ich "Kosmetikkoffer" .
Anbei mal ein paar Bilder was da alles reingeht.
Ist auch alles gegen verrutschen gesichert

Wenn ich mit einem 1200er in einen 180 cm Reflexschirm ballere, bekomme ich da eine Gruppe von 10-15 Personen ausgeleuchtet?

ja, hab ich bei einer Hochzeit gemacht.... mit einer Jinbei 150er Okto MIT Wabe drin...
Strahlender Sonnenschein auf einer Berghuette im Tiefschnee.
Am DC1200 mit A+B volle Power.
15 Leute relativ aufgehellt bekommen.... haette aber auch ein bisschen mehr sein duerfen, haett ich aber nur die Wabe rausnehmen muessen oder mehr Zeit haben zum Aufstellen

lass dich vom oberen Kommentar nicht beeindrucken, weil er nicht wirklich auf deine Frage antwortet

du musst wissen, dass man je nach Abstand des Blitzkopfes zum Schirm eine gewisse Fokussierung des Lichtes erreicht, sodass du vorab ausprobieren musst, bei welchem Abstand des Blitzkopfes zum Schirm eine solch breite, gleichmäßige Ausleuchtung möglich ist

von der Leistung solltest du dir dahingehend keine Gedanken machen, das reicht wirklich aus

Gibt es einen Diffusor für den Ringblitz?
Irgendwie werd ich mit dem Ringblitz nicht wirklich warm.
((Für den Alienbee gibt es diese Moon Unit...))

Der DC Ringblitz hat einen Diffusoraufsatz
im Lieferumfang enthalten.

I am thinking to buy the K-120cm and use it outdoors, but it seems heavy for the head and I often shoot outdoors.

As far as I remember, at least one user did post pictures of the regular DC head with a K-150 Octo box attached somewhere within this thread.

Personally, I tried the DC standard head ith a K-120 Box indoor so far and prsonally I would not suggest to test the resilience of the head with heavier gear. However, no damages were reported so far. It also has less "front weight" since it is less deep than the octo K-boxes (which are deeper than similar e.g. E.M. octos of the same diameter).

For on location and outdoor, buying a Pro head for larger Boxes is certainly worth a considerations, even if it adds a few bucks to the over all investment.

The other way round, I can live with smaller gear outdoor very well. E.g. I like my 70 x 100 K-Box for outdoor which is sufficiency large and as a rectangular box with four spokes a bit lighter than an octo box.

Hey guys, just some info on how to make your Jinbei Discovery or Lencarta Safari head to hold heavy modifiers. Note that I tried this with a Jinbei folding softbox (K series softbox) or profold softbox for lencarta as shown HERE. If you have normal softbox or octabox (with rods and stuffs), just buy the speedring that has a thread hole to mount a light stand to it.

I was trying to find a way how to attach the foldable modifier (umbrella style) to lightstand, instead of the head. As we all know, the discovery/safari head is not able to withstand heavy modifiers + abuse + moving around. It may be able to handle the modifier if it stays at one place. But if you are constantly moving around, I wouldn't trust it lol. So by mounting the modifier to the light stand, the head will be basically weightless and wouldn't be putting much stress on the mount.

Anyway, I found a way to attach the modifier to the light stand. I used the speedlite L bracket and light stand adapter like THIS ONE. I remove everything except the L bracket and light stand adapter. Or, you can just buy the L bracket from HERE and attach your own light stand adapter to it. I already have it at my disposal, so I just use it.

Then, I unscrew one screw on the softbox (see pictures), and attach the L bracket to it. Screwed it back using a longer screw because the original screw was too short. But the L bracket was not attach dead centre. You can drill a hold between the two screws (red arrow on 4th picture) if you want to. I'll probably do the same later.

A downside, you can tilt the modifier, but it'll press against the modifier, so from the inside, it looks like it's going to poke in, but don't worry coz it won't. The only problem would be the light spread, but i guess it won't be a big of a deal for me.

So now i will be able to use large modifiers such as the octabox without having to worry about breaking the mounting on the head. Anyway, here are some pictures i took just now.

irgendwo in der Mitte des threads stand eine Bemerkung zu einer Kabel-Kupplung, um zwei Jinbei Blitzkabel Kabel verbinden zu können. Kennt jemand ein entsprechendes Produkt und einen Lieferanten?
