Schon mal ausprobiert, den Blitz über die Entfernung zu benutzen? Reflektor im Systemblitz möglichst fokussieren, volle Leistung, Licht ggf. über einen kleinen Spiegel auf die Photozelle des Generators lenken? Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass man da auch einige Meter überbrücken kann.

Ansonsten wird eine Kabel mit möglichst dicker Litze helfen, Leistungsverluste zu minimieren: http://dj4br.home.t-link.de/lautspr.htm
So einen Zauber wie bei Audiokabeln muss man ja sicher nicht machen.

I would like to ask your opinion about buying an octabox for my DC600, particularly this one - LINK TO JINBEI 120cm

I'm planning to buy the K-120cm Jinbei Octagonal Umbrella Softbox, however I'm quite worried about the Jinbei DC-600 head could not handle the octabox weight.

I tried to play with the octabox alone (not attaching it to the head as I did not have the head with me at that time), it felt quite heavy. I'm afraid the head could not take the weight.

I've been using the DC-600 with 22" beauty dish ever since i bought it. Love the setup. However, I would like to add a 120cm octabox into my photography arsenal. A foldable octabox is preferred as i will be shooting outdoors often.

So yeah, I'd really like to know if the DC-600 can handle the weight of 120cm easily. I don't want to risk breaking the mount of the head when moving around with the box attached to the head.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Ich plane, die K-120cm Jinbei Octagonal Umbrella Softbox kaufen, aber ich bin ziemlich über die Jinbei DC-600 Kopf konnte nicht mit der Octabox Gewicht besorgt.

Ich habe versucht, mit dem Octabox allein (nicht Befestigung an den Kopf, als ich nicht den Kopf mit mir damals) spielen, es fühlte sich ziemlich schwer. Ich fürchte, der Kopf konnte nicht das Gewicht des Octabox.

Ich habe mit dem DC-600 mit 22 "Beauty Dish, seit ich es gekauft. Liebe das Setup. Allerdings würde ich gerne ein 120cm Octabox in meiner Fotografie Arsenal hinzuzufügen. Ein faltbarer Octabox bevorzugt wird als i wird geschossen werden Freien oft.

Also ja, würde Ich mag wissen, ob die DC-600 kann das Gewicht von 120cm leicht zu handhaben. Ich will nicht riskieren, brechen Sie die Halterung des Kopfes, wenn sie um mit der Box auf dem Kopf.

I don't have the 120 Octa myself, but from what I read here I would advise:
- 90 K Octa
- 120 K Octa with "Pro" head
- Elinchrom Rotalux (Deep) Octa (i.e. 100cm) with Bowens Adapter - they weigh just about half as much as the Jinbei/Walimex folding Octas

I would prefer the last choice.

"can handle" - yes
"easily" - no (it is a handling issue in first place)

For everyday use, I would definately choose a smaller box, e.g. 1m square (a little less weight than an octo) or the 90cm Octo.

I can't seem to justify the price of Rotalux Deep Octa. In my country (Malaysia), it costs nearly 4 times higher than the 120 K Octa. LOL. Perhaps I will buy the Pro Head in a few weeks/months.

Hi,

light-wise, the pro and standard head are the same.
Only the build quality is different: plastics vs. metal. Especially the mounting is more stable in the pro version.

I use the K-150 on the pro head, and a beauty dish or a K-90 octa on the standard head.... never tried the other way round.... would probably work, but can't guarantee for how long

Du wirst es nicht glauben, die Teile kamen aus Polen (und der bezog sie aus Asien)! Allerdings dauerte die Aktion über vier Monate bis alle passenden Teile (Stecker, Buchsen, Kleinkram….) da waren.

Umbauanfrage:

was mich am meisten stoert, ist die Tatsache, dass der DC1200/600 zwar piepst, wenn er wieder bereit ist, aber das ist recht leise (besonders wenn nebenher eine Nebelmaschine oder Windmaschine blaest

ich haette gerne:
* einen lauteren Piepser
* ein leuchtendes Laempchen in Gross
* --oder-- das Einstelllicht sollte (wie bei zb Jinbei MSN) sich kurz vorm Blitzen abschalten (um nicht zu stoeren) und dann -- wenn wieder bereit -- wieder einschalten...


Was sagt ihr dazu?

Wie waere es mit einem Verlaengerungskabel; wenn der DC direkt neben Dir steht, sollte es mit dem Ladeton doch funktionieren oder?
