Leica bringt anscheinend wohl doch etwas, das dem entspricht, was wir bei der Vorstellung der X Vario vermutet hatten ?

Leica and Panasonic are known for working together on the compact camera front. And now multiple trusted(!) sources confirmed that they are working together to realize Leica’s first mirrorless (and non rangefinder) system camera! The camera will be launched pretty soon (likely in January-February).
The sources told us that they will share the specs soon. It means dear Leica fans…stay tuned on MirrorlessRumors!

Also das hört sich sehr gut an. Leider nur APS-C. Da hat doch Fuji schon mit dem X System was extrem Gutes im Angebot. The Leica T (701) will be a new camera without a rangefinder. I am not sure if the Leica T will be an interchangeable lens camera (most likely) or it will have a fixed lens like the Sony RX1. The official announcement should be in the next few months. I am pretty sure that it will not have a Micro Four Thirds sensor (Leica executives have repeatedly said that they will not produce a MFT camera).
A new Leica camera that will be placed between the M and X lines has been rumored for years. After the last fiasco with UK media, in a recent interview with the Australian magazine Camera Leica's CEO Alfred Schopf confirmed again that they will come up with a new compact system camera:
"We will have one, definitely. And it will, of course, be quite different to M system. We want to have autofocus with such a system and we may well have an APSC size sensor rather than a bigger one. It will be a German built camera, however I'm not sure we can make all of the lenses made in Germany because we are talking about a different price range to M system so I could imagine that we do some fixed focal length lenses in Germany and maybe with the zooms we will co-operate with a partner"
The partner mentioned will most likely be Panasonic - last month Panasonic said that "is considering boosting its business partnership with Leica Camera AG and supplying the German camera maker with high-end digital cameras". Stay tuned for more details.
