Most all lenses show some vignetting wide open. The f1.4 are no exception. Maybe less so than the Fujicrons. But I wouldn't worry since it is corrected in JPEG or in LR, and goes away when stopping down. In fact, vignetting often adds to an image in a good way.
The old f1.4 lenses are known for their balanced correction. Not over corrected or optimized for corner to corner sharpness. Stopped down, sharpness is very good, if not excellent. Same goes for the Fujicron 35 and 50 (and the 90f2 is the crown jewel of the bunch).
So don't worry about vignetting. But don't expect outstanding corner sharpness from some of the f1.4 lenses wide open. Then again: Who shoots a landscape at f1.4?? And for portraits and close ups, a little reduced sharpness towards the corners is a good thing.
The new versions of the 1.4 line are bigger and from what I hear sharper wide open towards the edges. Your choice. I paid €1.200 for all four old lenses in mint condition used.
