Nicht erreichbare Adressen im Benutzerkonto
Wir bekommen zurzeit eine große Anzahl an E-Mails, die das System zum Beispiel als Benachrichtigungen an Nutzer verschickt,
als unzustellbar zurück, weil z.B. die Adressen nicht erreichbar sind oder das Postfach gar nicht existiert.
Stellt doch bitte sicher, dass die Benachrichtigungen, die ihr vom System erwartet, auch zugestellt werden können.
Nicht erreichbare E-Mail-Adressen sind dazu wenig hilfreich.

Deutsch. Ich habe nichts an der Kamera geändert.
Habe nachher nach dem selben Verfahren wieder die Original Firmware draufgespielt und dann hat das Augen Symbol geblinkt.
Also nochmal Hack rauf. Alles auf default eingestellt (Steht irgendwo in diesem Thread geschrieben), Orig-Firmware wieder rauf und das Symbol war weg.
Kamera ist wieder wie wenn ich nix getan hätte (warte eben noch auf den Servo).
Habe nachher nach dem selben Verfahren wieder die Original Firmware draufgespielt und dann hat das Augen Symbol geblinkt.

Man braucht die Karte nicht zu löschen, die Firmware muss lediglich in der obersten Ebene der Karte liegen, also nicht im DCIM Verzeichnis, sondern im Root.
Keine Angst, die Firmware bleibt deutsch.
Und die die Menüpunkte im Cn.-Menü sind auch auf deutsch und heissen somit: Spiegelverriegelung Ausgeschaltet/Eingeschaltet usw.
Man kann also durch Lesen verstehen um was es sich jeweils in dem Cn.-Menü handelt. Also sääähr einfach.

ich bin zwar nicht korpi, aber ich bin mir sicher: das hat nichts mit dem DCIM-ordner zu tun - solange im root-verzeichnis der karte ein *.fir-file liegt, versucht die kamera nach dem einschalten ein firmwareupdate.dj_evil schrieb:@korpi Bist du sicher? Also, ich habs meine alte 16MB CF-Karte in der Kamera formatiert, dann die Cam zurückgesetzt, auch die Customfunktionen der alten Version:
0,0,0,0,0,1,0,11,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0
Weiterhin steht die Cam auf deutsch und der Weißabgleich auf "automatisch". Letzteres soll auch wichtig sein.
Die Firmware "E3kr111.fir" habe ich per PCMCIA-Adapter und Notebook ins Root-Verzeichnis der CF-Partition geschrieben also auf der ersten Ebene auf der auch der DCIM-Ordner sich befindet. Was vorher für eine Firmware drauf war ist egal.

Wie hier schon angedeutet, hat ein User im Dpreview-Forum eine Fehlfunktion der Set-Taste gehabt.
Vermutet wurde ein Zusammenhang mit dem Hack.

• Mirror lockup available via enabling the option in the custom function, works by pressing the shutter button which
flips the mirror up, then the shutter opens about 1-1.5 seconds after MLU - note that this is different than how it is
implemented on the 10D where you press once to flip the mirror and press again to open the shutter
• Immediately pressing the ERASE button after taking a photo, you can delete the photo by pressing the ERASE
button again instead of selecting Ok previously, to not delete the photo press any other key
• Left button changes the focus mode and is displayed on the LCD as follows:
o PA-0 Lens set to manual focus
o PA-1 One shot
o PA-2 AI-Servo (selectable but cannot take a photo - one workaround, hold the shutter button all the
way down then switch the lens to manual focus)
o PA-3 AI-Focus (first takes one shot then the camera may switch to AI-servo depending on what you are
focussing on)
• Right button is for changing something (believe it's metering) but this does not do anything - so ignore (values if
you're curious are PA-0, PA-1 and PA-2)

Watchouts
• Camera may lock up if you attempt to change the language, maybe possible to change the language but
must be done on the original Canon 300D 1.1.1 firmware
• Some features may not work correctly if you are using another language - use English as a workaround
• If you upgrade and some of the things don't seem to work properly, set the settings in the Custom
Function back to the original values (see below) and install the original 1.1.1 firmware, then upgrade to
the new firmware
• Change the SET button to something other than FEC before upgrading to this version
• When the MLU is enabled and using the self timer, the timer will countdown and beep for 2 seconds then
pause another 7-10 seconds with no countdown in the LCD or beep.
• Names for modes via left/right button will be updated to something more meaningful
• MLU does not work properly when using a flash – flash will fire when the mirror is lifted – not when the
shutter opens
Revertng back to the original version
• Reset all the Custom Function values to the original 300D settings. Note, you cannot use the Reset
option in the menu, it does not affect these values. Below is a list of default binary values from left to right
(the bottom numbers in the CF menu):

• Flash back to 1.1.1.

hab auch nur die canon*** ordner gelöscht! (davor bilder natürlich auf PC gesichert )
ging dann einwandfrei!
bin aber echt begeistert von den neuen funktionen! fast alles was ich wollte. nur der servo mode geht noch nicht ganz, der shift zwischen AF zu MF ist doch etwas schwer ohne zu verwackeln....

bei mir wars vorher deutsch und nu auch! hab da auch nix dran gehändert und geht einwandfrei... die deutsche sprache stellt also zumindestens für die cam und den hack kein problem da
@zahni: jop, seh ich auch so! bei ebay und co wirds da wieder angebote geben und ahnungslose werdens kaufen... vielleicht unternimmt dann canon wenigstens was gegen die, die die 300D gehackt verkaufen und somit ja profit am hack erziehlen... wir werden sehn.
