Steve Huff hat ein interessantes Statement zum Unterschied der Autofokus Performance gemacht, Zitat:
"(...) An RII would not work for my video work due to the slow AF with video, and the III is also too slow for what I need with video as well, already tested. The A9 is my daily video rig. I also use it with AF lenses for photo, and manual lenses for when I want that style, feel or look. If I still owned the RII I would still have to have an A9 for video, so why would I own both when one body can do it ALL, and then some. No compromise in anything really. I can use it with this lens one day, then the next get the fastest AF for video I can get in full frame, and then the next day slap a 24-70 on it for IQ and speed. Versatile as all get out, so that is why. Previous models would not be able to do it all, and the A9 does. (...)"

Für seine Vlogs reicht also auch der Autofokus der A7III nicht aus, die A9 ist hier in der Praxis deutlich schneller.
