Peakto for macOS

This is a maintenance release for Peakto 1.8 our latest major release with new features in Search in addition to improvements to onboarding. It fixes some important bugs and improves reliability and memory footprint. It is recommended to all our users.

New in version 1.8.2:
• [NEW]: Developer menu to help locate important files and logs when interacting with our support.
• [NEW]: New onboarding visuals and Pic Saint-Loup image.
• [IMPROVED]: Improved memory consumption at startup.
• [IMPROVED]: Improved handling of Fuji RAW files. In previous versions, the metadata about the image including its aspect ratio were not properly read.
• [IMPROVED]: Improved preflight messages when some sources have problems.
• [IMPROVED]: Improved handling of Apple Photos incremental updates.
• [IMPROVED]: Improved behviour of the Synchronisation popup window. It now shows more information and continues to process the preview even when closed. It will display the last result when reopened.
• [IMPROVED]: Improved the reliability of Luminar previews.
• [IMPROVED]: Improved rendering of the favorite icon.
• [FIXED]: Several issues were fixed with multiple selection in Grid view that could get lost.
• [FIXED]: Fixed some connection issue with Instagram. The connection window could sometimes fail to disappear preventing the connection to happen. Instagram connection was fixed in many situations including 2FA.
• [FIXED]: Selection is now properly maintained when coming back from Detail view.
• [FIXED]: Albums were not properly refreshed visually when adding new content.
• [FIXED]: Fixed some rotation problems with Lightroom images.

• [FIXED]: Some unconfirmed faces could be returned in Lightroom. This has been fixed.

Der einzige Jammer für mich: Cyme liefert sowohl Peakto als auch Avalanche ausschließlich für Mac. Und ich habe mein MacBook mittlerweile gegen ein iPad Pro getauscht, der Rest muss wegen einiger spezieller Softwareprodukte auf einem Windows Rechner laufen; sonst hätte ich schon einen Mac Studio.

This new update of Peakto introduces support for Lightroom CC and enhances your viewing experience with full screen and dual screen support. It fixes some important bugs and improves reliability and memory footprint. It is recommended to all our users.

  • [NEW]: Added the ability to not check for synchornization needs when the app goes in the foreground.
