Der mittlere AF-Punkt misst, zum ersten mal in einer EOS-Kamera, horizontal und vertikal bis Blende 2,8 mit allen Canon EF- und EF-S-Objektiven.

Was ist damit eigentlich genau gemeint "bis Blende 2,8"?

Wenn ich das original lese würde ich sagen 9x Kreuzsensor für Linsen 5.6 und heller,
sowie erhöhte Genauigkeit beim zentralen Sensor für Linsen 2,8 und heller.

Ansonst find ich die 40D gut gelungen, ich werde aber sicher nicht von der 30D umsteigen (war eh nicht geplant).

Bis Offenblende 2,8, danach AFAIK nur noch horizontal. Bei einem 70-200 2.8 vertikal und horizontal (auch wenn aktuell z.B. Blende 5,6 eingestellt ist), bei einem 70-200 4.0 nur horizontal.

Ich hab' jetzt das Original nicht mehr zur Hand, aber es wird wohl so was heißen wie "arbeiten bis Blende 5,6 als Kreuzsensoren" - wie bei Canon eben üblich. Ich werd's mal korrigieren.

EDIT: Oder waren die Rand-Sensoren bei Canon sowieso alle nur bis 5,6 und der zentrale Sensor bis 5,6 als Crosstype und sonst bis Blende 8? Hat noch jemand das Original?

Also jetzt komme ich nicht mehr draus. Arbeitet der mittlere bis 2.8 oder bis 5.6 als Kreuzsensor?

EDIT. Die Frage wurde ja zwischenzeitlich schon beantowortet, bis 5.6 als Kreuzsenosr, bis 2.8 als besserer Kreuzsensor, was auch immer, dass das heissen soll.

Merci, wie ist das eigentlich mit der D80. Die hat ja nur den mittleren als Kreuzsensor. Ist der auch nur bis 5.6 ein Kreuzsensor und beim Bigma (6.3) nur noch ein Zeilensensor. Horrizontal oder vertikal? Ist etwas OT, aber vielleicht lässt sich die Frage ja schnell klären

Was ist eigentlich mit den Leuten die vorbestellt haben? Habt ihr ne Bestätigung von Amazon erhalten? Hat überhaupt jemand tatsächlich vorbestellt?

Ein klein wenig merkwürdig finde ich die ganze Sache ja schon. Erst veröffentlicht Amazon diese Infos, dann passiert offensichtlich irgendwas, aber anstatt das die Info komplett gelöscht wird, bleibt sie erstmal unter einem anderen Link abrufbar, jetzt ist sie ganz weg.

Was auch immer das für eine Taktik ist, ich hoffe dass die 40D auf jeden Fall so kommt wie von Amazon beschrieben.

Andererseits meine ich mich dunkel zu erinnern dass Amazon das schonmal bei irgendeinem Produkt "verbockt" hat.

Die Grenze ist da AFAIK ebenfalls 5,6. Wie genau der Sensor darüber weiß ich allerdings nicht.

Mich macht ganz irre, dass hier minütlich Antworten kommen und man somit gar nicht mehr nachkommt

Verbesserter Autofokus und verbesserte Belichtungskontrolle

Während die EOS 40D das selbe Neun-Punkte Autofokus-System besitzt, das mit der EOS 20D eingeführt wurde, hat Canon Geschwindigkeit, Präzision und Funktionalität des Systems stark verbessert und vor allem das Erkennen von Objektiven optimiert. Der komplett neu entwickelte Neun-Punkte-Autofokus-Sensor der EOS 40D bietet nun neun Kreuzsensoren, die allesamt bis zu Blende 5,6 als solche arbeiten. Der mittlere AF-Punkt misst, zum ersten mal in einer EOS-Kamera, horizontal und vertikal bis Blende 2,8, mit allen Canon EF- und EF-S-Objektiven, mit einer erhöhten Empfindlichkeit . AF-Berechnungen erledigt die EOS 40D 30 Prozent schneller als die EOS 30D.

Müsste da nicht noch der rote Teil hinein, sonst ist doch immernoch verwirrend?

Was auch immer das für eine Taktik ist, ich hoffe dass die 40D auf jeden Fall so kommt wie von Amazon beschrieben.
