Okey, ich habe dann selbst den Support angeschrieben und einen neuen frischen, noch nicht aktivierten Schlüssel erhalten. Man muss schon etwas Zeit dafür einplanen, da den Support nur langsam reagiert, aber die Sache war dann am Ende erledigt. Hier die Kopie der Unterhaltung (die echten Namen sind gelöscht):

Hello,
I do not use Capture One 20, I've bought digitally 2 years ago, any more. I am thinking about selling it on eBay. Am I allowed to do it? And should I involve you in the process? Technically, I could just give the serial number and the account's login/password to a new person.

Yes, we need to be involved, if the key has already been activated. When the single-user key is activated, it is linked to the account that was used. We can offer you this one-time-only opportunity to facilitate the transfer/sale by doing the following:
1) First, I will disable your current license key and generate a new license key without any Capture One account connected.
2) You then can use this new license key to resell/transfer it and the new owner can activate his software with this new license.
It’s very important that you don’t activate this new license key as this action is irreversible and the license key will then be owned by you.
Please, confirm, if you want to go forward with this and the key you'd like to sell.
