Alle AF-Sensoren sind Kreuzsensoren, Gehäuse abgedichtet

Konnte die 1D III doch auch schon.

wechselbare Mattscheiben, größerer Sucher
-> endlich zur KoMi Dynax 7D aufgeschlossen

Der Sucher meiner 30D Gehäuse taugt wirklich nicht viel, wieviel die auf 22mm verlagerte Austrittspupille und die veränderte Suchervergrößerung bringen, wird sich zeigen. Alternative Sucherscheiben gabs auch schon für die 30D, nur nicht von Canon..

Komisch, daß du die Bildqualität nicht erwähnst. Da müssen andere erstmal zur 30D aufschließen, geschweige denn zur 40D.

Ivh bin sehr überrascht... das ist mehr, als ich erwartet habe.

WLAN, Kreuzsensoren und einiges mehr. Die Konkurrenz darf sich warm anziehen und mein Wunsch, auf die 5D zu wechseln hat sich wohl auch erstmal erledigt...

Ich hab mir kürzlich erst die 30D gekauft, weil ich nicht auf die 40D warten wollt und dann zu 5D bzw. deren Nachfolger wechseln wollte.
Aber jetzt überleg ichs mir echt ob ich nicht doch die 40D als Zwischenlösung will

Wow, very nice! Canon hat seine Hausaufgaben gemacht, wenn der AF gut ist und der Sucher wirklich merkbar größer, dann ist das ein Volltreffer!

Das wäre doch ne würdige Ablösung für meine 350D... bleibt nur noch die Frage wo ich die Knete herbekomme...

...was ich persönlich auch sehr interessant finde ist die Custom Function "Highlight tone priority" um bei hohem Kontrastumfang mehr aus den RAWs rausholen zu können

naja erstmal auf die ersten Erfahrungsberichte warten...

Du scheinst Apfel-Birnenvergleiche zu lieben.

Komisch, daß du die Bildqualität nicht erwähnst. Da müssen andere erstmal zur 30D aufschließen, geschweige denn zur 40D.

Du hast meinen Beitrag einfach nicht verstanden. Es geht darum, dass Canon die Probleme der 30D und das, was die Konkurrenz bisher (teilweise wesentlich) besser gemacht hat, nun auch macht bzw. verbessert. Vor allem haben sie es nach vielen Jahren endlich geschafft, dass beim Öffnen der CF-Klappe ein Warnton ertönt und nicht einfach die noch nicht geschriebenen Bilder weggeworfen werden.

Nach heutigem Dollarkurs liegt das Teil deutlich unter 1000€.

Leute haut Eure 30D s raus. Wenn die 40D lieferbar ist, fällt die 30D mega ab.

Ich auch nicht, aber das ist genau die Linse mit der ich die 40D ohnehin kaufen wollte, auch der Preis ist sehr sehr verlockend.

dann wird morgen wohl vorbestellt ich plane schon länger meine 20D nur noch als backup-lösung zu nutzen und jetzt kommt endlich adäquater ersatz auf den markt.
zum thema suchermattscheiben: ich fokussiere immer noch recht gerne manuell und vermisse einen klassischen schnittbildindikator bei meiner 20D manchmal. ich arbeite viel auf mittelformat und durch sucherlupe oder im falle des prismensuchers durch den schnittbildindikator bin ich im bereich manuelle fokussierung etwas verwöhnt ...
