Echt Wahnsinn, hat mir tatsächlich prompt zurück geschrieben und noch dazu so ausführlich:
Hi Lukas,
I am not super familiar with the very latest Capture One versions (the last version I used much was version 8), but as far as I know they do not support something like Lightroom's "external edit" functionality. However, you can still use Iridient Developer with Capture One and in some ways Adobe's external editing has some disadvantages anyway. I personally do not use the external edit functionality myself even when working with Lightroom.
In Capture One you can use drag and drop from the thumbnail browser onto the Iridient Developer icon in the dock or onto the Iridient Developer preview window. If you are working with RAW format images and also have JPEG (or TIFF, etc) versions from either the camera or previous editing, just be sure you drag and drop the original RAW image from C1 to Iridient.
You can drag individual images at a time or whole groups from Capture One.
Once you have opened the images from Capture One into Iridient Developer you would then process the images out to TIFF (or JPEG, etc) much as you would when working with Lightroom, Photoshop or any other image management or editing software.
If you are using Sessions in Capture One if you export the image from Iridient Developer back into the original folder that contained the RAW file it will automatically appear right back into Capture One. There is a popup menu in the Iridient Developer save file dialog for the "Default Save to Folder" and you can set this option to "Original Image Folder" to always place saved images along with the originals. If you are using some of the other catalog or library options with Capture One you may need to perform an "Import" to get the images from Iridient Developer back into C1, again I'm not completely up to date with all of the latest C1 changes, but regardless it shouldn't be much if any work to get exported files back into Capture One.
> This is the way to work with Photoshop out of Capture One. And if it's not possible is that something that can be implemented in an update or would Phase One be responsible for this?
If there is an option to do something like an "external edit" with Photoshop from Capture One then that same functionality should also work just fine with Iridient Developer. The only special case there is if C1 sends a processed image (JPEG or TIFF) and not a reference to the original RAW then Iridient Developer needs to be able to find the RAW based on that intermediate file. Iridient Developer works with both Lightroom and Aperture and assuming Capture One uses functionality similar to those programs Iridient Developer should be able to find the original RAW even if it outputs a processed intermediate file.
In this case the setup for Iridient Developer would be absolutely identical to that necessary for Lightroom and Aperture when using external editing. You can refer to the Help by clicking the Help button in the Settings window or choosing Iridient Developer Help from the Help menu and then click on the "Working with Lightroom" or "Working with Aperture" topics in the left sidebar for more information on how to set this up.
