Liebe User,

Händler schrieb:These are the main changes from the RF-602:
- Dual Mode Transceiver instead of dedicated Transmitter and Receiver.
- As a result of the above, there is now a power button on all parts of the system (there was no power button on the RF-602 TX.
- All AAA batteries. 1.5v Alkaline or 1.2v NiMH are preferred. None are now included in the packs, as this has caused many delays in Air Mail as it passes through national Customs checks.
- Shutter trigger cable included.
- The TRX has four autosensing modes (further described below); Flash trigger (as a receiver), Camera trigger (as a receiver), Wireless camera shutter trigger (as a hand held transmitter) and Flash trigger (as a camera mounted transmitter). As a result of this, the RF-603 system will not work with other makes of camera, and off camera flashes cannot be triggered manually using the press button on the TRX (this is now reserved for wireless shutter control only).
- Backwards compatibility with RF-602 (and other systems). To do this, you must mount an old transmitter in the upper hot shoe of the TRX on the camera, which will then control older receivers. Note that sync speed may be compromised a bit. Note that it is not recommended to mount a flash in the upper hot shoe of the TRX on the camera (which also does NOT support TTL).
- Studio strobe and cable to flash cables are not included in the package, as so few RF-602 customers wanted them. They can now be bought as accessories (look for PC to 3.5mm or to 6.35mm cables).
- Combined shutter and flash trigger control in one set. Unlike the RF-602 and almost all other systems, the RF-603 can do both of these triggering functions on a single channel with 3 TRXs (additional TRXs needed for additional flashes). This is because the RF-603 TRX is autosensing. When you plug the shutter trigger cable into the 2.5mm socket on the TRX, and attach it to the camera's shutter trigger socket, the TRX on the camera knows to start in that mode, and when the camera fires and then issues a flash fire signal the same TRX quickly switches to flash trigger transmitter mode.
- A generally better made design, and more reliable.
