Moin ihr lieben,
ich hab gerade bei Canon US auf der HP folgende Erklärung zu
einem Problem beim drehen der Bilder im Windows Explorer entdeckt.
Dachte ich poste das hier gleich mal.
5.1. Image Display Error Notice
When you perform the following operation on picture data, shot by Canon digital cameras and stored directly on a CF card, using Windows Explorer on a PC in which Windows®XP Home Edition / Windows®XP Professional Edition (Windows®XP hereafter) is installed, the Exif picture data which is attached to the image data, is changed. In this case, errors related to the display of the thumbnail image and some software functions may occur both on Canon digital cameras and their enclosed software utilities (ZoomBrowser EX, PhotoStitch, etc.).
-Operation
Select "Picture File"->Click "Rotate Counter Clockwise" or "Rotate Clockwise" Button (on the bottom of the Preview Screen)
Select "Picture File" >Select "Rotate Counter Clockwise" or "Rotate Clockwise" Button (by right clicking on the Menu)
Select "Simple" display on the "Summary" tab of picture file "Property" >Click "Apply" or "OK"
*Note 1:
After the above operations, the Exif picture data is changed and cannot be restored.
We recommend that you back up the original picture file before proceeding with the operations listed above.
*Note 2:
Even if the Exif picture data is damaged, the image data remains intact and the file can still be opened and used in most image editing applications such as Adobe™ Photoshop.
