Keiner verschwendet Speicherplatz das datenlastige DNG. Testseiten mit Raw-Files hab ich von dem Objektiv auch nicht gefunden. Das DNG muss man wohl bilateral abwickeln und über die Dropbox o.ä. austauschen.

Von anderen Objektiven findet man relativ leicht ein DNG zum Download. Mich wundert es, dass ich auf der Irix-Seite nichts finde. Ich finde ein (weiterer) gmall-Account ist ganz gut für solche Zwecke.

Ich habe nur eine Vermutung:

"IRIX" wird anscheinend nicht übertragen nur die 11mm mit Blende. Warum? Die Korrekturprofile für LR erkennen das Objektiv nicht automatisch. Da wird bei "Profilkorrektur automatisch" nichts ausgesucht, erst wenn ich bei "Marke" IRIX manuell anwähle, dann erkennt LR das 11mm und wählt automatisch das richtige Profil.

Daher *nehme ich an*, dass der Firmenname nicht eingebettet ist und eine vollautomatische Korrektur ohne eigenen Eingriff scheitert.

Mich würde sehr wundern, wenn der Hersteller selber da versagt...

EDIT: Hast Du mal in den Korrekturprofilen von IRIX mit einem Editor geschaut, ob man Rückschlüsse ziehen kann?

Also so wie das zur Zeit ist, kann das nicht automatisch funktionieren.

Es schaut mir auch danach aus, dass die EBV im Original rumpfuscht. IMHO hat eine EBV nichts an einem Original zu ändern. Da finden sich Metadaten, die nicht zur Aufnahme passen.

Glaubt Ihr eigentlich, dass Ihr mit diesem Thema und einem hunderte Zeilen langen Beitrag im Unterforum Produktankündigungen (für das Objektiv, NICHT für irgendwelche funfakes oder wie die hießen) an der richtigen Stelle seid?

Den Hinweis, dass IMHO das IRIX aber gar keine Infos für die EXIF-Daten bereit stellt und somit eine automatische Korrektur mangels automatischer Erkennung nicht möglich sein könnte, wollte ich ihm aber schon geben. Wozu die Arbeit, wenn es an der nötigen Identifizierung schon scheitert...

Also ich mache gerne einen eigenen Thread zur Korrektur auf, ich denke aber schon, dass die Metadaten ganz entscheidend und ein Ansatz für einen Workaround sind, sodass die Korrektur automatisch funktioniert. Da ich mir nicht sicher bin, on der Filter "lens" alles abdeckt, das wichtig ist, habe ich die ganzen Metadaten gepostet.

Wie schon geschrieben, die EBV (Lightroom?) verändert die Metadaten des Originals. Ich erinnere mich noch an Zeiten wo Photoshop die Metadaten kaputt gemacht hat. Gar nicht gut! Ich verwende Darktable, da ist das nicht der Fall. Ich nehme jetzt mal an, dass die EBV nichts wichtiges verändert hat.

Meine Grundthese ist, lasse kein Programm das Original verändern, das könnte die Datei auf ewig unbrauchbar machen. Beim Sigma 8-16 muss ich da aber auch eingreifen. AFAIR steht beim Sigma von 8-10mm 0 in den Metadaten. Das kann man aber per Script automatisiert korrigieren, allerdings ist es dann eben ein verändertes Original.

Meine konvertierte lcp-Datei sieht so aus:

Man muss also "nur" die Metadaten im DNG-File so anpassen, dass sie mit der Konfigurationsdatei übereinstimmen oder umgekehrt.

Mittlerweile denke ich, dass es einfacher ist die Korrekturdatei anzupassen, dann braucht man nicht das Original verändern. Allerdings reicht das bei mir mit Darktable bzw. lensfun nicht.

LR findet bei mir das 11mm-Irix-Objektiv-Profil nach dem Häkchen automatisch. Bemerkte nach einigen Probieren, dass es unter die "Canon"-OEM-Objektiv-Profile kopiert werden musste, was nicht logisch ist aber funktionierte. Wer einen andere Anschluss nutzt, sollte mal versuchen das Profil unter verschiedene Objektiv-Ordner-Profile des jeweiligen Kameraherstellers zu kopieren bis es in LR korrekt funktioniert -

sieht dann in LR bei mir so angezeigt:

Diese Profil-Einstellung kann ich in LR-Entwicklungsmodus auf beliebig viele Bilder per "Kopieren" & "Einfügen" übertragen.

Flickr liest seine Daten offenbar in einem anderem Feld aus und wird nur die Brennweite 11mm anzeigen.

Lückenhafte Exif habe ich bei diverser Hersteller festgestellt.
Folgende Fehlerquellen gibt es:

-Unzureichende anwendungs- und kameraübergreifende Exif-Standards
-Objektivfirmware liefert nicht alle Daten
-Camerafirmware erkennt nicht alle Daten z.B. bei neuen Objektiven
-Fehler des Editors bei Umwandlung des Raw [CR2] zu DNG (z.B. LR)
-Fehlnterpretation des Exif-Ausleseprogramms (z.B. Flickr)

Ich meine es gibt Schlimmeres. Solange die Kamera korrekt belichtet und auch die eingestellte/vorhandene Brennweite mitgibt, kann ich aus meiner Sicht damit leben.

Ich gebe dir recht, solang es einen Workaround gibt, den habe ich aber für mich noch nicht gefunden. Was mich aber gewaltig an LR stört, dass es die Metadaten des Originals verändert oder kann man das einstellen? Darktable und Aftershot erstellen dazu ein xmp-file.

Ich befürchte, jetzt verlassen wir völlig das obige Thema. LR ist auch ein Metadateneditor, der neue - zumeist erwünschte zusätzliche Metadaten manuell und auch automatisiert hinzufügt. Wer sich darauf einlässt hat ein einheitliches Werkzeug für alle Kameras. Das hat Vor- und Nachteile. Die Konvertierung der OEM-Daten in DNG-Raws läuft vom Anwender unkontrolliert.

Du hast recht. Ich lasse die DNG bereits von meiner Pentax erstellen und die EBV hat mein Original-Foto nicht anzurühen. Ich mach einen neuen Thread auf, wenn ich zum Irix 11mm noch was herausgefunden habe.

Die haben tatsächlich "neutrino coating" verwendet ?

Wäre extremst ineffektiv:

- Neutrinos halten sich nirgends fest und sind meist nahe der Lichtgeschwindigkeit unterwegs.

- Neutrinos haben nur dann wirklich irgend einen Einfluß, wenn sie wirklich in extremsten Massen auftreten (z.B. Supernova). Ansonsten durchfliegen uns in jeder Sekunde Millionen davon, ohne auch nur im Geringsten mit uns zu interagieren.

- Auch mit Licht haben Neutrinos keine Interaktion.
